Death of Franck GUNSTONE, author of “Lipid Handbook” and CHEVREUL Medal 1990
One of the leading analytical lipid chemists of our time, Frank Gunstone , passed away last week, 3 days after his 98th birthday. Professor of Chemistry at the University of St. Andrews (UK), he was notably the author of the “Lipid Handbook”, which is still on many bookshelves and remains an essential reference.
